How to Impress a Princess -- Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

What wouldn’t a frog do to capture a princess’s heart? On this the princess and the frog coloring page he’s clearly about to explode from effort.

And here we see the kiss attempt again. This frog just won’t give up! Remember this coloring page? (second from the top).

I think he really likes Tiana. And he is desperate to be a normal prince again.

By the way, does anyone know why the movie is called “The Princess and the Frog” and not “The Frog Prince” which it is based on? Is it because of copyright, or because the story is supposed to be so significantly altered from the original? Just curious.

Anyways, as I don’at the moment know any other interesting trivia about the movie. (And no, I’m not going to go into any of the controversies surrounding it – the whole topic is insane).

So how about another coloring page?

The Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages Continued

It’s time to meet a new character from The Princess and the Frog. Behold the coloring page of Ray, the lovesick Cajun firefly. He will be voiced by Jim Cummings.

Looks kinda sneaky, doesn’t he?

Disney has a history of creating cool lovable sidekicks. For some reasong this coloring page of Ray reminds me of Sebastian from the Little Mermaid fate…

What do you think?

I think they must be long lost brothers… separated by evolution and all…

Oh, and you remember the coloring page from the last post?

Well, here is the sequel:

I think the frog’s expression is priceless.

Anyways, there are going to be more the princess and the frog coloring pages soon. So don’t let your printers run out of ink.

And while you are waiting, I recommend you check out this princess and the frog trailer spoof… I wonder if they got the ending right ;)

More Great Free Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

OK, OK, I know most of you are excited about the princess coloring sheets. And what can I say – the girl is gorgeous… If I was just a bit younger or a bit more honest with myself about my actual maturity level I’d be coloring her myself right now.

But don’t you think the frog is amazing?

I mean, I don’t know the story (at least not the Disney’s spin on it), so I’m not sure if this frog is actually the prince (whose name is Naveen, by the way)… But this frog rocks!

Seriously, check out these coloring pages:

Doesn’t he have a smashing attitude?

And this:

Now what woman could resist this kiss? I mean, the romance in the eyes? The froggy fists? I think this frog is a real charmer. Just look at Tiana’s face on this next princess and the frog coloring page…

She looks…. …. … alarmed? :)

Oh well… sometimes men… even as frogs they are…

Anyways, I’ve got a few more pictures ready, but I’ll post them next time. So keep checking.

And remember, as the princess and the frog coloring pages are free, you shouldn’t have any problem printing them. Just right click on the image of your choice and voila. A printing option should be available. Or download them to your hard drive and print from there. Aren’t printables fun?

Enjoy and buy more crayons!

And paper…

And ink… for your printer…

New Free the Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

For this first set of the princess and the frog coloring pages I am extremely proud to present this wonderful picture of princess Tiana.

Isn’t she gorgeous? In the upcoming cartoon Tiana will be voiced by Anika Noni Rose.
Princess Tiana is a 19 year old girl from the French Quarter of New Orleans at the hight of the Jazz Age.

Disney is very secretive about the details of the story line. Originally they were going with the name of Maddy who was a chambermaid, but they were heavily criticized and changed the name. There is no word yet whether she’s still a chambermaid.

All we know at this point is that there will be music. There will be a trumpet playing alligator, a frog prince and a set of other lovable characters.

Given that it’s Disney we are talking about, I’m sure they’ll deliver. And the new princess of the official Disney princess line up will be as memorable as ever.

So I’m planning to be getting a lot of coloring pages of Tiana and her friends.

Just so you have a taste of what’s coming, here is the frog:

Oh boy, he doesn’t look happy, does he? I’m not sure there is enough green in the crayons box to express his state of mind ;)

Anyways, the pictures here are free and printable. Just right click on the image you like and print it. No catch. Have fun!
