I think he really likes Tiana. And he is desperate to be a normal prince again.

By the way, does anyone know why the movie is called “The Princess and the Frog” and not “The Frog Prince” which it is based on? Is it because of copyright, or because the story is supposed to be so significantly altered from the original? Just curious.

Anyways, as I don’at the moment know any other interesting trivia about the movie. (And no, I’m not going to go into any of the controversies surrounding it – the whole topic is insane).

Disney has a history of creating cool lovable sidekicks. For some reasong this coloring page of Ray reminds me of Sebastian from the Little Mermaid fate…

OK, OK, I know most of you are excited about the princess coloring sheets. And what can I say – the girl is gorgeous… If I was just a bit younger or a bit more honest with myself about my actual maturity level I’d be coloring her myself right now.

But don’t you think the frog is amazing?

I mean, I don’t know the story (at least not the Disney’s spin on it), so I’m not sure if this frog is actually the prince (whose name is Naveen, by the way)… But this frog rocks!

New Free the Princess and the Frog Coloring Pages

For this first set of the princess and the frog coloring pages I am extremely proud to present this wonderful picture of princess Tiana.



Isn’t she gorgeous? In the upcoming cartoon Tiana will be voiced by Anika Noni Rose.
Princess Tiana is a 19 year old girl from the French Quarter of New Orleans at the hight of the Jazz Age.

Disney is very secretive about the details of the story line. Originally they were going with the name of Maddy who was a chambermaid, but they were heavily criticized and changed the name. There is no word yet whether she’s still a chambermaid.

All we know at this point is that there will be music. There will be a trumpet playing alligator, a frog prince and a set of other lovable characters.

Given that it’s Disney we are talking about, I’m sure they’ll deliver. And the new princess of the official Disney princess line up will be as memorable as ever.

So I’m planning to be getting a lot of coloring pages of Tiana and her friends.

The Princess And The Frog Coloring Pages -- Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to The Princess And The Frog Coloring Pages resource.

Princess and the frog is the new full length Disney animation feature coming to theaters in the christmas season of 2009. It is based on the classic fairy tale The Frog Prince. It is a jazzy musical that will add a whole new princess to the official Disney princess line-up. Her name is princess Tiana.
